Television
- There are four commercial television stations but none provide national coverage,
- The television channel of the state-run Liberia Broadcasting Service has not been operational for over a decade due to massive destruction of its facilities during the civil conflict; but hopes to provide national coverage in the future.
- Currently, both international and local media are popular among the scene among television viewers (see chart below).

Urban areas also included Peri-Urban regions defined as- "immediately adjoining an urban area; between the suburbs and the countryside."
